Legendary Television and Digital Media Signs First Look Deal with Emmy® Award-Winning Producer Warren Littlefield

The Littlefield Company is a Strong Addition to Legendary’s Growing Producer Relationships

Burbank, CA – October 9, 2014 – Legendary Television and Digital Media announced today that it has signed a first look agreement with Emmy® award-winning producer Warren Littlefield and his production shingle, The Littlefield Company.  The agreement that will focus on content for both television and current digital and emerging platforms was announced today by Bruce Rosenblum, Legendary Entertainment’s President of Television and Digital Media.

“Warren is one of the few former broadcast network presidents who has successfully made the transition from executive to producer.” said Rosenblum.  “We are thrilled to be in business with him and proud to have his award-winning talents to help us create content that will resonate with audiences no matter what the platform.”

Littlefield developed, and is an Executive Producer on, the Emmy award-winning FX series Fargo. He is currently developing a contemporary remake of In the Heat of the Night for Showtime. As President of NBC Entertainment, Littlefield oversaw the creation of many hit shows including Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier, Law & Order, ER, Will & Grace and The West Wing. In May 2012 Random House published the New York Times Bestselling book TOP OF THE ROCK: Inside the Rise and Fall of Must See TV written by Littlefield.

Legendary’s digital division was launched in 2013 with the acquisition of Nerdist and most recently added Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry.
