Pacific Rim Director Guillermo del Toro and Writer Travis Beacham Host “Pacific Rim: Tales from Year Zero” Signing in Los Angeles
Pacific Rim fans lined up for a chance to score some original Sharpie art and meet director Guillermo del Toro and writer Travis Beacham this week in Los Angeles. Beacham and del Toro were on hand at Meltdown Comics on Wednesday, June 12th to sign copies of Legendary Comics’ Pacific Rim: Tales from Year Zero, the action-packed prequel to the highly-anticipated upcoming film, in theaters July 12th.
Written by Pacific Rim screenwriter Travis Beacham and supervised by director del Toro, Pacific Rim: Tales from Year Zeroprovides insightful back story and follows many of the key characters from the film in their early careers as Earth is first besieged by the beasts known as Kaiju. Up on the surface, the race is on to develop a massive robot counter-attack as the Kaiju emerge from the ocean to eliminate all of mankind and begin a war that will test humanity.
